While The Child Hood began with a love for fashion, it has grown into something far more personal. Prior to starting a family, I ran an online boutique specialising in women’s designer labels. It was my first step into the fast-paced world of business and a deeply rewarding experience. After welcoming my first son, I chose to step back and focus on being a full-time mum. A few years later, with three beautiful children of my own, I felt inspired—and ready—for a new chapter.
Watching my children and their friends play, explore, and grow highlighted just how important their environment is. Their spaces should reflect their energy, imagination, and comfort. That inspiration became the foundation of The Child Hood as it exists today.
We now specialise in nursery essentials, including cots, bassinets, and custom-made nursery furniture, with bespoke pieces at the heart of what we do. The majority of our items are handmade and custom built, crafted with care to ensure exceptional quality and longevity. Every piece is designed to be both functional and beautiful—made to support your child’s earliest years while fitting seamlessly into your home. 
About Our Quoting System
Because many of our pieces are custom-made and materials and pricing can fluctuate, we operate on a quoting system rather than fixed display pricing. This allows us to offer you the most accurate and affordable pricing possible at the time of your order. To receive a quote, simply add all required items to your quote cart and ensure your delivery address is included so we can calculate an up-to-date delivery fee.
